Lockers in the CUB

Hi, my name is Xanthippe and I'm an English major here at Stetson. And behind me is Hatter Network. Being a part of Hatter Network, I spend a lot of time here. So it's one of my favorite places on campus. And I'd love to show you all around. You can follow me this way. So, the Carlton Union Building is a central location on campus and it has really great resources for commuters like myself. One of them being the commuter kitchenette, where we can put our lunches and reheat them in the microwave. And the other one being these lockers where you can put your belongings in them and then come and get them at the end of the day, and they're easily accessible to students on campus. Conveniently, right across from it is the Hatter Network offices where I spend most of my time which is where I'm going to take you all next. So, Hatter Network is comprised of three branches. One of them being WHAT Radio which is right behind me. It's an entirely student-run radio station. The other one being The Reporter, which is an entirely student-run magazine that keeps Stetson students informed. And the last one, which I'm a little bit partial to, is Touchstone, our annual literary arts publication. I may or may not be the executive editor of it. So my dad edits a literary journal, and it's about as old as I am. So, I have known that literary journals have existed for a really long time. And when I found out that Stetson had one I applied, um, and fast forward one year, and now I'm the executive editor of it. And, so far, being executive editor of Touchstone has been a really great experience. Be sure to check out some of the other videos about my favorite places on campus.
