There are a lot of services provided to students through the Hollis Family Student Success Center or Academic Success. And those range from tutors, academic advising in the halls, Hollis Family Student Success Center, and there's SPIs, which are student peer instructors. There's also peer success coaches. What we help with is stress management organization, presentation. Sometimes, if you just have troubles, a lot of people have learning disabilities, sometimes will come to us. We help with note-taking. We help with anything that a student really needs. And if it's something beyond us-- we refer you to people who can help you.
Spiritual life and religious resources and counseling services here at Stetson are located in Griffith Hall. And they have a lot of great resources for students to go if they are needing to talk to somebody, just like relax, and like debrief from your day or from something stressful that's going on that you're just needing to talk to somebody besides your family.
Any student that may have any kind of disability, they can go to the accommodation services. They essentially will work with you and figuring out what specific accommodations that you will need either in your classrooms or in your housing situation. They're very much accommodating — very kind. Stetson is incredibly supportive of its students. There are a lot of resources here to support your mental and physical health.
