The World Center, it helps international students come to Stetson, because they, you know, provide us with SEVIS forms and I-20, which is very important for us to come. And they also host like various events for international students to make them feel welcome. When I first came to campus, I felt welcomed by the people around me. They were very open. They said hi to me, even though I didn't know them, they would be like, hey, and you know, they would ask me where I'm from. And I would tell them, even though they didn't know where it was, they would listen and they would ask me more questions about it. And as I got to meet more people, it made me feel even more welcome. And atmosphere is very nice here. There are many other international students. I know another person from Myanmar. Actually, he's, he's a senior now. And then one of my best friends is from Armenia. I know other people that are from Syria, or like Lebanon, Egypt, Middle East countries, and also South American countries.
My major is International Business with a minor in French. So I really want to go abroad and especially, if you are looking to minor or major in a language, this is a credible opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the language that is the best method to really learn a language. So I'm very much looking forward to studying abroad and getting that opportunity.
