Flagler Hall

So behind me we have Flagler Hall, which has the departments for English and Psychology, and being an English student and a student employee in this building, I spent a ton of time here. So let's go take a look inside. In collaboration with Burrow Press, I get to take literary publishing courses here at Stetson, where I get to edit books in real-time, and then I'll have my name in a published book like one of these right here. Literary publishing courses are not offered at most universities, so I'm really grateful for this opportunity that Stetson has given me. So, this is my desk for my job in the English Department. And I took this job because I wanted to get that closer connection to faculty, and I'm really happy to say that that's exactly what's happened. A lot of students here at Stetson take advantage of the student employment opportunities that we have. Some of the reasons why is because you have that first-name basis with administrators and faculty, and you get real-world hands-on experience while completing your degree.
